TYlin - GPO

GPO Group, strategically aligned with TYlin, is an international group that offers engineering services for the comprehensive management of public works.
Since its founding in 1985, the company has become the world leader in mobility and rail engineering consulting, offering a wide range of services that include planning, design, construction and operations, serving the mobility and transportation industries worldwide.

Adeyaka has been entrusted with designing, executing and furnishing the group's offices that occupy more than 1,000 m2 on the first floor of an emblematic office building located in the "upper diagonal" of Barcelona.

The offices were designed respecting and enhancing the industrial style surroundings, with visible installations and an "unfinished" look, seeking transparent and open spaces as much as possible.

The challenge was to establish different compositions depending on the hierarchy in the company, with different requirements for middle management and managers.

For this purpose, two typologies were created exclusively with furniture, without the need for walls or partitions: individual workstations that are virtually separated with 60/40 cabinets for those who need privacy or to receive a confidential visitor, and custom-made screens on desks generating an independent visual and acoustic separation for each workstation.

The project has been furnished mainly with Adapta+ and Adapta 2+ desks, Qbuc pedestals and 60/40 cabinets, meeting rooms with Adapta+ desk compositions for up to 14 people and some small rooms with Cuadrat tables. The project’s acoustic treatment is particularly noteworthy, made with custom-made Duo panels and screens with special upholstery in two colours.

An important project with numerous customized requirements involving other top brands such as Vitra or USM, the result of which is very relevant.
